The department of Biotechnology was started in the Academic year 2006 -07. Our laboratory is modernized and well equipped to conduct advanced research in different areas of Biotechnology. Advanced instruments include ELISA, PCR, Fermentor, and Electrophortic Apparatus, DNA Documentation System, Blotting Apparatus, Ultra & Micro filtration system, Spectrophotometer, Environmental Growth Chambers, High speed cooling centrifuges, Fluorescence and Phase Contrast Microscope etc., are catering the need of R & D activities and regular lab Practical’s.&Technology can be enabled and developed in the present scenario only through collaborative activities, and one such step in the developmental process is our National conference on Recent Trends in Bio-Chemical Engineering.
